Festival de Cine Ecuatoriano al Aire Libre (FCEAL) was a cultural initiative directed by Diego Narváez that brought Ecuadorian cinema into public spaces across the country. The project was awarded the National Cultural Projects Grant from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Ecuador (2013–2014) and was conceived as a traveling platform dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of Ecuadorian films.

The festival toured 10 cities, transforming public squares and urban spaces into open-air cinemas. Screenings featured works by a range of Ecuadorian filmmakers and took place in cities including Quito, Tena, Puyo, Guayaquil, Ambato, Machachi, and Ibarra, among others.
The project was developed in collaboration with Afuera Producciones and Cine Aventura (Tena), with the aim of bringing national cinema to new audiences and fostering connections between the public and Ecuador’s film community.
